I ordered one of these gauges from Amazon several months ago. I like it very much as it has range enough to measure my RV tires and resolution and accuracy enough for my low pressure lawn tractor tires. So, I ordered another to keep one in the tow vehicle and one in the garage. However, I did not receive the same gauge as before and not the same as the one pictured. The one I received has a straight shaft (no angled adjustable head) and no means of locking the pressure reading.
Amazon may not have sufficient control of its suppliers, but they should not allow things like this to happen. An inexpensive item like this is not worth the trouble returning, but I am disappointed. The gauge I received just will not work properly for some of the measurements that I have to make.

I brought a set of valve stem tire pressure guages hoping that I don't have to check the tire pressure again.
The pressure gauge is made three parts:
- A metal valve stem tire cap that thread to the valve stem.
- A clear see through plastic cap on top of the metal cap.
- A color stick (yellow, green, or red) inside the plastic cap that sticks out when tire pressure is low.
Out of the box, the color stick indicator is visible since there is no pressure exerts on it. When it it putting on the value stem on the tire, the stick will be invisible if the pressure is above the designed psi.
So you don't have to bend down and check the tire pressure again by just walking around the car and see if any of the gauge has color stick visible on it. If it is, you need to add more air to the tire.
You can buy the Valve Stem Tire Pressure Guages at 32, 36psi.
However, after just one day of use, out of four gauges, one has its plastic cap and yellow stick falling off and the other has its yellow stick comming out even thought the pressure is correct. So DOA at 50%. That is totally unacceptable for a simple device like this.

I saw one of these on a friend's motorhome and decided they would be a good safety factor for my motorhome. You only have to fill one easy-to-get-at valve stem and both tires of your dualie set filled to the same pressure. It warns you when your pressure drops more than 10%. And, if one tire has a fast leak or blow out, a safety valve shuts off the air from the good tire so it doesn't go flat, too. The only problem is, you'd expect the kit to come with two sets, since every vehicle with dualies has two sets of dualies. Much to my surprise, there was only one in the package, now I have to order another one. The drawback is the price and the labor to install, which will require a truck tire-shop.
