I returned this tire gauge unopened, after readiing on the back of the package that the battery is not replacable. This means that I could use it for a year or two, then off to a landfill. Not good for the planet, and also not a wise expenditure of my money. I believe this information should be provided in the description; if I had known, I would not have chosen this tire gauge.
