The size and shape make it easy to hold; some reviewers have stated that it is too big for them; I am 6' tall with normal size hands; the product may be too bulky for someone with much smaller hands but for me it is of a comfortable size and easy to hold because of the shape and the rubber traction around the edges.
Fitting the narrow end to a tire valve to get the reading is about the same as any tire gauge; make sure it lines up properly and push it on. The same end of the gauge can be used to release air from the tire if needed.
The digital readout is easy to see. I have dropped the product and it continues to work.
With the push reduce oil consumption some people underestimate the effect of having properly inflated tires. This gauge has been reliable, is stylish, easy to use and priced right. Also, if you are going to give a tire gauge as a gift this is a good choice.

I've tended to avoid checking my car's tire pressure because until I got the Accutire gauge, it was such a hassle. I found it to be a hassle for two reasons: 1) I can't read other gauges without my reading glasses (the only kind I wear), and having to get my glasses from wherever they are in the car and put them on and then move from tire to tire with reading glasses on that make it hard for me to see things that aren't up close - just a hassle and I find peering over the reading glasses in that situation a hassle, and 2) I've had a problem with every single gauge I've used except the Accutire getting it seated just right on the valve stem. I've used standard pen-sized gauges as well as gauges that have a hose attached to a dial-readout. Sometimes I've managed to let more air out of my tires when attempting to fill them than I've managed to put in.
For me, the Accutire has changed all that. I can easily read the dial without my reading glasses, and I can easily get the gauge seated on the tire stem without deflating the tire in the process. I bought it right before a road trip during which I put about 1500 miles on my car, and the tires were well inflated the whole time - because checking the pressure was so unintimidating - and the ride certainly felt better. I bet I saved some gas too. Now, for the first time in my life really (and I'm pushing 60), I actually look forward to checking my tire pressure.

Product arrived in inopaerable condition. Had to send back to manufacturer for replacement. Have not received replacement yet.

I needed something easy to use and easy to read and this tire gauge does both perfectly. It measures down to the tenth of pound which is more accurate than any normal driver will need. I suspected the guys at the gas station weren't doing that great of a job of filling the tires and I was right. With this gauge I found my car tires to be as much as 6 pounds off and one of my truck tires was 19 pounds off. The device is very heavy duty, foolproof to use and the only problem you're going to have is all your friends wanting to borrow it so they can go mess with their tires. Tried many gauges, this ones by far the easiest to operate, super accurate (even matched up with factory TPMS monitors) I'm the service director for a large Hyundai Shop so I've seen all the Mickey mouse gauges, even the expensive matco, snapon, cornwell. Dollar for dollar this beats them all. Great for the homeowner. Great for the technician. Save your self hundreds of $ a year keeping your tires properly inflated. Check this gauge against you old gauge and see how inaccurate it was!!!
